Cleaning For Different Stains on Wooden Furniture

When cleaning your wooden furniture, you have to think carefully. Stay calm even if you’re seeing what you think is an irrepairable damage. Otherwise, there is a great risk that instead of restoring the beauty of your wooden furniture. In this short article, we will try to accommodate and explain what you can do on a certain situation involving your wooden furniture. Grease stains should be removed as soon as possible to keep it from setting in. Never rub off the stains. You can use mineral spirits, talcum powder and sawdustto absorb the grease. When the wood furniture has nail polish stain, do not use polish remover. Instead, use paste wax on hard-paneled wood furniture and applying a small amount of oil on wood furniture with oil finish. Use liquid solvent-base wax for paint stains. For minor scratches, you can use paste wax. Whatever kinds of stains your wooden furniture have, always remember not to rub off the stain, this will cause further damage like discoloration.
