Kinds of leather on furniture
February 26, 2009There are a number of different kinds of leather out now, and the finer leather materials are used for most fine furniture. If the furniture is considered fine and good looking then most of the time, the furniture will use the top grain leather. The top grain leather will come from the desirable outer surface of the hide. If the leather that is used on the furniture is the split grain and this is taken from the inner surfaces of the hide, but the issue here is that this is much weaker compared to the other leather materials.
