Check out room space when furniture shopping
February 25, 2009When shopping for your furniture, you need to make sure that you measure the space available in the room. This is a common mistake for some furniture shopping. There is something wrong with buying furniture and this furniture cannot be brought inside the room since the piece of furniture is too large. What you can do is to measure the furniture, and make sure that you measure the space. You can use an old-fashioned tape measure in order to find the distance from wall to wall. Or you can splurge a little bit and you can buy a new laser tape measure and let the modern tape measure do the work for you. If the measurement has been properly collected the you can create –a to-scale lay out.
